Who We Are

This website is operated by Grenis, Lisa 4 BOE and Friends of Jana Smith Post(“the Campaign”), a candidate committee registered with your state’s campaign-finance authority. Our mailing address is Prince Frederick, Maryland.

Information We Collect

Automatically collected. When you visit this site we may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URL, and approximate geographic location through standard server logs and analytics.

Voluntarily provided. When you submit a contact form, volunteer sign-up, endorsement, or newsletter subscription, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any message content.

Donation data. Donations are processed by Stripe (or, when configured, WinRed), third-party payment processors. The Campaign never sees, stores, or has access to your credit card, bank account, or other payment credentials — those are entered directly into the processor and tokenized before reaching our servers. We do collect and store donor name, mailing address, phone, email, employer, occupation, and contribution amount as required by applicable campaign-finance law.

Donation form drafts. When you begin filling out the donation form, the information you enter is saved on our servers as you type, even if you do not complete the contribution. We retain this data so the Campaign treasurer can reconcile incomplete contributions and reach out to donors who experienced a payment problem. Drafts that are never completed are not reported to the campaign-finance authority and are deleted on a rolling basis. To request deletion of an incomplete draft sooner, email us using the address in the Contact section below.

How We Use Your Information

  • Communicate campaign updates, event invitations, and news via email
  • Process and respond to volunteer sign-ups and contact inquiries
  • Comply with applicable campaign-finance reporting requirements
  • Improve the functionality and content of this website

Public Disclosure of Donor Information

Many states require campaign contributions over a set threshold to be publicly reported to a campaign-finance authority. Donor name, address, employer, occupation, and contribution amount may become part of the public record, accessible through that authority’s public database. By making a contribution, you acknowledge this legal requirement where it applies.

SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in to receive text messages from Grenis, Lisa 4 BOE and Friends of Jana Smith Post:

  • You consent to receive recurring automated text messages from the Campaign at the phone number you provide, including messages sent by autodialer — polling and voting text messages (such as election reminders and opinion polls) and public service announcement text messages (such as legislative updates, member updates, and voter education)
  • Message frequency varies based on campaign activity
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan
  • Text STOP to any message to opt out of future text messages
  • Text HELP for assistance, or contact us at janapostforboe@gmail.com
  • Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Text opt-in consent data and phone numbers will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Compatible carriers include but are not limited to AT&T, T‑Mobile, Verizon, and other major US carriers.
